Died: February 10, 1891 in Stockholm, Sweden
Kovalevsky's career was highlighted by receiving
the famous Prix Bordin from the French Académie des Sciences in
1888 for her paper On the Rotation of a Solid Body About a Fixed Point.
Her selection was unanimous and without the knowledge of the committee
that the author was a woman.
